PPA62-All Buttoned Up

 

 

Whether you like to button up your overcoat or button down your collar, Pals Paper Arts challenges you to use buttons on your clean and simple card this week.  So choose one button or gather up a few to accessorize your creation.   We’re sure it will be cute as a button!

Tip:  A tiny sliver of coordinating cardstock will thread a button perfectly and match your colors as well!

Pals Paper Arts Artist Pick Winners - PPA61

PPA Design Team Profile: Mary Fish

A past recipient of the #1 Rising Star Award from Stampin’ Up!, Mary Fish’s star continues to shine in the stamping world.   This year she was SU!’s #6 Demonstrator of the Year!  Also on her creative resume is a stint on the Dirty Dozen Design Team and a current spot on the Mojomaker Design Team for Mojo Monday.  She hit the ground running in 2007 when she joined SU! and created her own niche in the blogging world with her Stampin’ Pretty site.  Her work is beautifully crafted with clean lines, striking design and a modern edge.  As members of her Stampin’ Pretty Pals, we are proud to call her our “Fearless Leader!”

Our two favorite witches from the musical Wicked are spreading the word that PPA’s theme this week is Halloween!  We’re sure these two ladies have something wickedly fabulous planned for the big day.  Join in the fun and show us your spooktacular Halloween creations!

Tip: Halloween can be delightful as well as frightful.  Googly eyes or a bit of sparkly bling takes the edge off of a scary creature!

Pals Paper Arts is honored to have Beate Johns as our featured artist for our first Celebrity Color Challenge! As one of the earliest contributors to Splitcoaststampers, Beate is a true pioneer in the on-line stamping world.  Her creations are works of art and her willingness to share her knowledge and talent is remarkable.  There doesn’t seem to be a technique that she can’t master and we have all learned from her tutorials!  Join Beate and the PPA Design Team as they dress their creations in Tempting Turquoise, So Saffron and Old Olive!

Tip:  Don't have these colors?  Never be afraid to substitute a color of similar hue!
