PPA91-Elements of Style-CAS-Buttons

 

 

Buttons are a true Element of Style and Pals Paper Arts challenges you to use a button - or two or three - on a Clean and Simple card this week.  Whether they are bold and brassy or tiny and sweet, buttons make a definite fashion statement!  So button up your card and play along!

Design Team Changes, and Blog Candy Reminder

 

 

 

It is with deep regret that we say good-bye to Design Team member Gina Shaw this week. Her creativity, energy and enthusiasm made her a valuable team member!  We could always count on Gina for encouragement and support!  We wish her much success with her new professional endeavors and are pleased to report that even though she is stepping down from the design team, she is remaining a Pal.  Be sure to check out her blog Cards by Gina.

 

 

 We are delighted to welcome Pam Giudici back to our team!  Pam did a terrific job filling in for Margaret recently and will now be a permanent member of the Design Team, alternating weeks with Melanie.  We all look forward to seeing her wonderful creations again!

This week's challenge was a color challenge that had you feeling green with envy (Pear Pizzazz), simply delighted (Daffodil Delight), or just plain “crumb”y (Crumb Cake)!  Guest Artist Veronica McCollum said “I use my sense of style and imagination to create my designs.  If you like it, go with it.”  Our resident Pals Paper Arts Design Team pared and caked us until we were daffy!.  Many visiting designers contributed to this week's creations and three showed us what a color challenge was all about!

PPA 88-Celebrity Color Challenge

Blog designer extraordinaire, Veronica McCollum, joins the PPA Design Team this week as Celebrity Guest Artist! Last year’s sleek chic makeover of Pals Paper Arts is a wonderful example of her artistry!  Her ability to translate the concepts and character of her clients into graphic art has resulted in fabulous personalized blog designs found throughout our stamping community. She designs blogs full-time now so we are delighted that she took the time to play at PPA. Show us your personal design and play along using Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight and Pear Pizzazz! 

Veronica’s Tip:  I don’t design by the rules.  I use my sense of style and imagination to create my designs.  If you like it, go with it.

Pals Paper Arts Artist Pick Winners - PPA87
