PPA104-CAS-Elements of Style-Paper Piercing

 

Paper Piercing is the Element of Style this week at Pals Paper Arts.  It is a stylish but simple way to add interest to your design!  Have fun with this one - go ahead and poke some holes!  Create a CAS card using paper piercing and link it to the runway.  Can't wait to see your (w)hole design!

Pals Paper Arts Artist Pick Winners - PPA103

It's time to announce the winners of our latest challenge. This week's challenge was a sketch challenge created by Margaret Moody, one of our own Design Team members.  Our Featured Artist Melissa Ordelheide along with our resident Design Team members arranged the pattern pieces to resemble the sketch and assemble the creation.  Lots of our readers pieced the puzzle together, but only three made it to the top!

PPA103-Sketch Challenge

 

 

Margaret Moody has another wonderful sketch for us this week at Pals Paper Arts.  Fellow PPA Design Team member Linda Callahan recently asked her about her designs and this is what she said:

 

"I like to keep the sketches simple.  I strongly believe in letting people add their touches  . . . embellishments, ribbon, etc., whatever they want. I don't believe in dictating every element on a sketch!"

 

So you decide - dress it up or dress it down and link it to the runway at PPA!

Pals Paper Arts welcomes Lesley Croghan as our Celebrity Guest Artist.  Lesley's beautiful stamping shines through her classic designs - she admits to loving clean lines and bright colors!  Her energy and enthusiasm for stamping led her to create The Paper Players, a weekly challenge site.  An elementary teacher, SU! demo and design team member means that Lesley is one busy lady!  We are delighted that she joined us this week to play with those summertime blues!
